Biography

 

Carolin Kaltofen-Ngwenya is a German Painter and self-taught. By living with animals in the countryside in her childhood and during her later training as a horse groom she developed a certain affinity for animals, especially horses. Even then she liked to draw and paint them. Since 2018, she has increasingly devoted herself to painting as a part-time job. Her experiences with the most diverse people and their life stories during her studies in social work, the subsequent work in this field as well as encounters on her travels inspire and influence her art. She currently lives and works in Göttingen with her two children and her dog Bella.
